A set of six elegant bentwood armchairs model A 811, designed by Josef Hoffmann for later produced by TON in Bystřice pod Hostýnem, Czechoslovakia. The chairs feature steamed bent beech frames with rounded armrests, curved backrests, and upholstered seats.
The A 811 design reflects the refined bentwood tradition associated with Hoffmann. After nationalization, the design was taken over for production by TON, the historic Czech bentwood furniture manufacturer. The simple curved construction gives the chairs a distinctive and functional appearance suitable for dining rooms, cafés, restaurants, or other interiors.
