Alipes Black Swivel Salon Chair with Chrome Star Base by Giorgetto Giugiaro for Gamma & Bross, Italy, Contemporary, 85 × 70 × 60 cm
This vintage swivel chair features a distinctive sculptural silhouette, combining a curved black seat shell with a separate upholstered backrest and a polished metal star-shaped base. The wraparound sides create a defined seating form, while the swivel mechanism adds practical functionality. Main product photo background has been edited using AI.
The contrast between the black upholstery and metallic base gives the chair a sleek, modern appearance. Its compact yet distinctive design makes it suitable for a home office, dressing area, bedroom, or contemporary living space. It can also serve as an accent chair in a vintage-inspired or eclectic interior.
With its combination of curved lines, dark upholstery, and a star-shaped base, this chair reflects the streamlined aesthetic associated with modern furniture design of the mid-to-late 20th century.
