A rare chairs designed by Czech designer Miroslav Navrátil. This chair was designed as part of the world-renowned exhibition EXPO in Brussels in 1958, where the Czechoslovak pavillon was a phenomenal succes.
It features a backrest that creates a feeling of comfort and it is made of fiberglass and coated with a fabric that is elastically glued to this material. Characteristic are also metal legs, typical of the mid-20th century furniture design. These legs are removable. The armchair is generally in good original condition, only the fabric shows signs of wear and age in a few places.
