Vintage Mid-Century Long Sideboard, Czechoslovakia, 1970s

Offered here is a vintage sideboard produced in Czechoslovakia around 1970. This piece is designed in the spirit of mid-century modern style, emphasizing clean lines and functional storage. The frame is made from plywood and beech wood. The front is equipped with two sliding doors – one in bright red with a black handle, the other in natural wood showing its grain.

The interior features open compartments divided vertically, each equipped with a glass shelf. The storage spaces are accessible from the front via sliding doors. The sideboard is supported by four tapered legs with contrasting light-colored tips.

The surface shows a light patina consistent with age and use but is overall in very good condition without visible defects. This sideboard is suitable for various uses in living rooms, dining areas, or offices – for storing documents, as a display unit, or as a TV stand.
