This chromed floor lamp was designed and made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1930’s. It’s made of chromed-plated steel with milk glass shade. The simple shape of the lamp is related to the Bauhaus period when minimalist shapes entered applied art. When switched on, the lamp creates a pleasant diffused light.
