ART DECO Tulip daybed in walnut by Jindrich Halabala for UP Zavody, 1930s

This ART DECO daybed in the shape of a tulip was designed by architect Jindrich Halabala in the 1930s for UP Zavody. The piece is an example of the Czechoslovak Pre-war ART DECO style and it features a wooden structure that is veneered in the walnut with original mattresses.
