This elegant Art Deco secretary desk from the 1930s reflects the functional and decorative qualities of the interwar design era. Though compact in its base form, it features expandable side wings that transform it into a wide working surface.
The piece is finished in rich burl wood veneer, with a symmetrical grain pattern typical of the Art Deco style. The top portion includes a drop-down writing surface with interior compartments, while the lower cabinet is enclosed by matching lockable doors.
It remains in very good original condition, with light signs of wear and an authentic patina. A refined and practical piece suitable as a writing desk, vanity, or striking accent in a vintage-inspired interior.
